Kari Galyen, MD

Dr. Kari Galyen is originally from Pierce, NE. She went to the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she received her medical doctor (MD) degree. She then completed a dual internal medicine/Family Practice residency in Omaha and Kearney, NE. She is married to Dr. Jim Galyen and has 4 children, Ainsley, Brody, Blake, and Luke. I see all ages and all problems, but one of my strengths is functional medicine.  This means that I try to figure out the root cause of the problem to get people back to health.  With this I try to avoid, or use as little prescription medicine as possible to obtain ideal health.  I enjoy spending time outside with my family,  experimenting in the kitchen, and all sports!
